Return & Exchange Policy – Mayur Rugs
At Mayur Rugs, we take great pride in offering ethically crafted, handmade rugs that celebrate traditional Indian artistry. Each piece is created with care and attention to detail. However, if your purchase does not meet your expectations, we’re here to help.

General Terms

This Return & Exchange Policy is applicable only to purchases made through our official website: www.mayurrugs.com. It does not apply to purchases made via third-party platforms or resellers.

Unboxing Requirement for Damaged/Incorrect Items

To initiate a return or exchange due to a damaged or incorrect product, an unboxing video is mandatory. Please record a clear, uninterrupted video while opening your package and inspecting the rug. This helps us process your request efficiently and fairly.

Return & Exchange Window

  • Notify us of any return/exchange request within 7 days of delivery.

  • Once approved, the product must reach us within the next 7 days.

  • We offer reverse pick-up services, subject to availability at your location.

  • If reverse pick-up is unavailable or unsuccessful after two attempts, you will be responsible for shipping the product back to us.

Refunds & Store Credit

  • We do not issue monetary refunds. Instead, we provide store credit in the form of a coupon code valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

  • Store credit is processed within 5 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned item.

  • A flat ₹150 shipping fee will be deducted from the store credit amount.

  • Partial use of store credit is not allowed. It must be redeemed in full on a future purchase.

Conditions for Returns & Exchanges

  • Rugs must be unused, unsoiled, and returned in original condition with all tags, labels, and packaging intact.

  • Products showing signs of wear, damage, or missing packaging will not be accepted.

  • Items once exchanged or returned cannot be returned/exchanged again.

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability and approval by our team.

  • If the requested item is unavailable, your store credit can be used for any future purchase.

  • Sale items or discounted purchases are final and not eligible for return or exchange.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement.

  • Custom, made-to-order, or personalized rugs are non-cancellable and non-returnable.

  • Bulk orders (5 or more rugs) are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

Please note: Mayur Rugs is not liable for any damage caused during return shipping. Ensure safe and secure packaging if you are shipping the product back.

Important Notes

  • Returns sent without prior communication and required documentation will be rejected and returned.

  • Customers are responsible for shipping charges if pick-up is not possible from their location or fails after two attempts.
